DESTINATION WEDDING PLANNER
Meeting new people and socialising is very important to me. After many years of working in hospitality, I appreciate the need for reliability and dedication.
I thrive on being part of the bilingual team that creates your special event.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Planning any event whether it be a birthday celebration, anniversary or cooperate seminar can be overwhelming, I will help to organise all the intricacies of whatever event you are hosting and ensure the smooth running from start to finish, whether it be for the whole planning process or as a day coordinator. All the details whether big or small will be carefully overseen by myself and my team, with a great eye for detail, so you can relax and enjoy the fun!
CATERING
The catering is an essential part of any event and often one of the most memorable. I love designing menus and seeing the joy the delicious food brings to your guests faces. I use local, seasonal ingredients as much as possible which allows us to make sure we use produce when it is at its best, popping with flavour and colour. It also allows us to create dishes that reflect the season, whether it be beautiful tomatoes and berries in early summer or autumnal fruits later in the year. Running a company that was focused on experience holidays hosted by celebrity chefs has given me a lot of experience and my passion for cooking developed into catering for corporate events, wedding and private parties. Living in the Vendee allows us access to such delicious produce and excellent suppliers, we are very lucky!
Our Menus
The menus we offer give you the choice to cater for your guests for the whole weekend with a package that is interesting and takes full advantage of all the areas within the chateau grounds. It is a great way to kick off your celebrations with a relaxed bbq style Friday evening, perhaps by the pool or in the orangerie. The wedding day can lead smoothly from the tasty canapés under the dappled sunlight of the oak trees to a memorable 3 course wedding breakfast in the courtyard of the chateau itself. Al fresco dining in this region is wonderful, and the good weather we are lucky enough to enjoy means this is something most of our guests choose. Why not add some late night snacks to nibble on later on during the party with sharing boards of fabulous local cheese and charcuterie? Finishing with a laid back brunch on Sunday is a wonderful way to reflect on your wedding weekend and make the most of your friends and family on the last day.
Knowing the venue well and having a lot of experience with all different styles of weddings, the menus we have are flexible and we can design bespoke dishes to meet your needs.
Accommodation
The venues I work with do offer beautiful accommodation, particularly the château de Bourneau which sleeps 50 people over 4 holiday cottages with their own pool and a lovely honeymoon suite. It’s a lovely addition to your package to be able to accommodate the majority of your guests onsite.
If you have an idea of the number of guests, this is also a key part of choosing your venue. Some venues can allow up to 400 people where as others have more intimate spaces for smaller groups. They are all beautiful and unique in their own special ways. Choosing your perfect venue and accommodation is really exciting and I can help you do this ensuring it is within budget and has everything you wish for your wedding.
